Artist Statement

My work explores philosophical topics through the relatable medium of cartoons. I aim to create animated pieces are created with an informative intention about topics pertaining to philosophy, history, and anthropology with elements of satire. I believe that cartoons are one of the best mediums for transmitting this knowledge as it’s easily accessible for all ages and backgrounds. By spending a lot of time delving into these topics, case studies inform and support my work. It is important that I explore philosophy through this medium to better understand what motivates people in times of conflict, and how those conflicts may be resolved.
